HELEN

GET TO KNOW

For nearly 40 years, Helen Wean has worked alongside families, farmers, and landowners across Madison County. She understands the challenges facing our rural communities—rising costs, pressure on our land, and decisions being made without local voices at the table.

Helen isn’t a career politician. She’s a neighbor who’s ready to step up and be your voice.

Standing Up for What Matters.

Protecting Our Land & Property Rights

Our land isn’t just property—it’s our livelihood, our legacy, and our future.

Helen will fight to ensure that landowners and farmers have a seat at the table when decisions are made. She believes in fair, balanced policies that respect private property and protect generational farmland.

Water & Natural Resources

Clean water and responsible conservation aren’t optional—they’re essential.

Helen supports practical, local solutions that protect our water supply while respecting the needs of farmers, landowners, and residents. She believes we can be good stewards of our resources without overreach.

Lowering Costs & Protecting Families

Families across Madison County are feeling the pressure—from energy costs to everyday expenses.

Helen will work to support smart, responsible decisions that help keep costs down and protect working families from unnecessary burdens.

OUR HOME

DISTRICT 1

MADISON COUNTY

What I’m Hearing:

Across our communities—from Elwood to Alexandria and throughout rural Madison County—I’ve spent time listening to what matters most to the people who call District 1 home.

Here’s what I hear again and again:

  • Families feeling the pressure of rising everyday costs

  • Farmers and landowners wanting practical, responsible energy solutions—not mandates

  • Concerns about water quality, drainage, and long-term infrastructure

  • A desire for steady, local jobs and economic opportunity close to home

  • Residents who want their voices heard—not overlooked

These conversations matter. They shape how I think, how I lead, and how I show up for this community.

And this is what I’m fighting for—practical solutions, strong representation, and a voice for District 1 at the table.
